JoJo Siwa has shared a fresh update after unveiling her artificial intelligence–generated ‘family’ with boyfriend Chris Hughes, and the development is a surprising one.
The 22-year-old star and Hughes, 33, have been virtually inseparable since meeting on Celebrity Big Brother in 2025.
Although the pair initially insisted they were just ‘platonic’ friends amid growing speculation about their chemistry, they later confirmed they were, in fact, a couple.
In the months following their relationship reveal, the couple has mostly kept things low-key, aside from mentioning the challenges of maintaining a long-distance romance. However, Siwa did share last year that she sees marriage in her future.
To go along with the revelation, she posted an AI-generated Snapchat image of herself dressed as a bride.
“Call me a wife!!!” she captioned the photo.

This isn’t the first time Siwa has used AI to visualize her future. She recently posted a digitally generated ‘family’ photo featuring herself, Hughes, and two imagined children.
Shared on TikTok earlier this month, the image shows the couple dressed in matching blue and white outfits, with their ‘kids’ posed beside them. “My heart wasn’t ready for this,” she wrote in the caption.
The post sparked divided reactions. One person commented: “An artist as big as Jojo Siwa using ai to generate a family is so insane.” Another added: “Using ai for this is weird as hell and everyone defending it makes me lose hope in humanity.” Others loved it, with one fan saying: “WAITTT stop it’s so cute,” and another writing: “Awwww rooting for you two.”
All the teasing seems to hint that Siwa is genuinely thinking about a future with the Love Island alum. She told E! News The Rundown’s Erin Lim Rhodes that the idea came after a conversation with a friend.

The Dance Moms alum explained: “Meghan Trainor once told me, she said, ‘You will know you love somebody when you love them so much you want to duplicate them and you want to pop a baby out that is made from them.’”
Siwa went on: “One of the first things that I said to her after I started dating Chris, I was like, ‘I get what you’re saying now.’ I love [Chris] so much. I need there to be a mini [Chris].’”
She admitted her emotions have been intense lately, adding: “He sent me a baby photo of him the other day. It’s like him in a trash can. It’s really cute. And I was like, ‘Uh oh.’”
Still, that doesn’t mean a baby is on the immediate horizon.
“He definitely knows it’s out there,” she told the outlet. “A couple of days went by and I was like, ‘Babe, why don’t you ever talk to me or say anything about this?’”
It turned out to be a simple misunderstanding: Hughes had actually discussed it with his friend Jack and thought he’d already had the conversation with Siwa herself.
