Meet the Cast of Fox’s ‘Memory of a Killer’: See Who Patrick Dempsey and the Other Stars Play
Memory of a Killer premiered in January, with Patrick Dempsey taking on one of the most complex roles of his career. But who does he play on the Fox series?
Dempsey stars as lead character Angelo Doyle also known as Flannery a man leading a dangerous double life while concealing an even deadlier secret. According to a Fox press release issued in July 2025, the character has developed early-onset Alzheimer’s.
Inspired by the book De Zaak Alzheimer, the thriller follows Angelo’s seemingly typical suburban life with his daughter, which slowly collides with his secret life as a hitman as his memories begin to blur.

Patrick Dempsey plays Angelo Doyle and Angelo Flannery, one is a suburban dad and widower who sells photo copiers and the other is a hired hitman. Throughout the show, Angelo begins to lose his memory and his lives begin to blur which could lead to death, destruction and more damage than anyone could predict.

Odeya Rush plays Angelo’s only child, Maria Kahn, who is expecting her first baby. “It’s so important for her to keep him close because Angelo is the only family she has left,” Rush said of her character during Fox’s January 12 preview

Michael Imperioli’s Dutch Forlanni is Angelo’s connection to the underworld. According to Fox’s preview of the series, “Dutch and Angelo grew up together. They have a very close bond.”
