Private Investigator Reveals the One Mistake Cheating Men Always Make

There may be a surprisingly reliable way to tell if your partner is cheating especially for those who feel suspicious but can’t afford to hire a private investigator.

With all the warnings about relationships and how easily things can go wrong, sometimes staying single seems like the safer option.

But cheating isn’t always as obvious as constantly checking your partner’s phone. And accusing someone without proof can destroy a relationship even faster than betrayal itself.

Connecticut private investigator Ray Ranno recently shared an interesting pattern he’s noticed while conducting stakeouts on suspected male cheaters. According to him, men who are about to meet their mistress almost always do one specific thing first.

Stakeouts, Ranno admits, can be boring until the warning signs appear. Once he spots them, he can often predict exactly what’s about to happen.

Earlier this year on the Locked In with Ian Bick podcast, Ranno revealed his biggest clue.

“If a guy’s going to pick up his sweetheart on the side, he wants a clean car,” he said.

Ranno explained that he frequently watches men stop at the car wash before heading out to meet another woman.

“The moment someone goes to the car wash, I think, ‘Ha ha, what’s next?’” he said. “It’s amazing how often they do that. Women don’t really do it. Usually they jump into the guy’s car. Men almost always want to drive. It’s rare to see a man riding in a woman’s car.”

Once the couple meets, Ranno begins gathering evidence for the person who hired him.

And forget the old clichés of detectives hiding behind newspapers in trench coats. Ranno uses advanced technology to document everything discreetly.

Along with long-lens cameras, he even carries a fake coffee cup with a hidden high-definition camera inside.

“If I’m in a coffee shop or supermarket, I just take the lid off, turn it on, put the cap back on and it looks like I’m just holding a coffee,” he explained. “Meanwhile, I’m recording everything.”

When the job is finished, the photos and videos are delivered to the client the person who suspected they were being betrayed.

So maybe it’s not just the phone you should be watching.

Maybe it’s the car, too.
